Devlog | Resolution Jam | Jan'25

Hey Everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well!
Since my last update, I’ve been participating in the Resolution Jam and working hard on Detective Frizbee. This project has been a labor of love for quite some time, and I felt it was the right moment to share with the world what we’re building.
I had shared an earlier build of the game, but due to concerns about potential memory leaks in the newer version, I had to submit the initial concept build at the last moment. Unfortunately, this resulted in several reported bugs, particularly issues with players navigating the story.
Now, I’m focused on addressing the feedback and completing the pending work on the demo build. I’m excited to let you know that the upcoming build will include these features:
fixed issues in new build
- jittery camera
- unable to find Paul -> added world marker system
- improved dog character animations
- improved the NPC character animations
- added dialogues
- locked the area, where the story is not happening
How to start the story:
- In the farm where you start, there should be some animals inside the fenced area
- a cow would have a floating cloud over it
- basically that's the dialogues cloud
- and way to start the story
will be fixed in next build:
- buggy main menu
- loud music in main menu
- controls menu
