Devlog 1.2.1 : Fate & Designs

Hey Everyone,

While designing these games, I had a meta thought today about How Fate of Our Work is So Uncertain !

This thought is derived from a quote I read in the Shri Bhagavad Gita: "You keep doing your work without worrying about the results."

Shri Krishna tells this to Arjuna when Arjuna doesn't feel like fighting against his own kin and respected people.

I feel game development is similar—we game devs pour our hearts into a game for 2-3 years and then release it to the public, uncertain of the outcome. We strive to align our work with current trends and improve the quality of engagement, but ultimately, it all comes down to fate.

I feel fortunate that fate has chosen us to deliver this kind of work to society.

Here's a big loud roar and clap for all the game developers who are grinding hard. ✨

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥

Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani...

(Translation: You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Do not let the results of your actions be your motive, and do not be attached to inaction.)
